“This is my take on Tamiya’s old (1974) release of the SAS jeep in 1/35 scale,” says John. “It's painted with Tamiya acrylics and weathered with artist’s oil washes and Mig pigments, which were applied both dry and with alcohol as a solvent. The figures and some equipment are from Legend Productions. The base is fine sand built up with white glue on a square of foam insulation.”
