Heeresgruppe Kurland vignette - May 2013

Brian Eberle, Dumfries, Virginia

“The inspiration for this came from reading about the Heeresgruppe Kurland from November 1944 through May 1945,” Brian says. “As a career military officer and engineer, the art of a deliberate defense always intrigues.” Brian’s 1/35 scale fortifications are plaster of paris over Styrofoam and painted in a dark earth tone topped by a mixture of static grasses and Scene-A-Rama soil. Tank Productions and Tamiya figures are equipped with Dragon field gear.
