“The ‘Haunted Tank’ debuted in DC Comics’ ‘G.I. Combat’ series No. 87 in 1961,” writes Brad. In the series, Confederate cavalry general J.E.B. Stuart advises M3 tank commander Lt. Jeb Stuart through several theaters of World War II. Brad recalled those adventures by pairing Moebius Models’ reissue of the Aurora 1/8 scale Confederate Raider with Tamiya’s 1/35 scale M3 Stuart light tank. “I highly recommend it,” Brad says of the Tamiya kit. “It can be knocked out in a weekend, and it is a fun build.”
