Dan writes: “Here is my diorama ‘Rainy Day in the Ardennes.’ It is late 1944 as a King Tiger moves into position for the offensive soon to be known as the ‘Battle of the Bulge.’” Dan used Dragon’s 1/35 scale kit, adding Eduard’s photoetched-metal fenders and Zimmerit kit. Dragon figures are equipped with Verlinden rifle slings among evergreens from Woodland Classics and baking-soda snow. An overspray of Pledge Future floor polish made the scene look suitably wet.
