“Traveling to the Russian Front,” is what Fred calls this 1/35 scale rail-borne scene. He parked Tamiya’s Tiger on Dragon’s German Railway Flatbed Typ Ommr, which provides the guard stationed at the front of the car. Fred, 89, flew with the U.S. Marines as a turret gunner on a Grumman TBM and says, “Having fought in the Pacific in World War II, I know firsthand what went on there. So I have been fascinated by the war with Germany.”
