Peter hand-brushed Tamiya’s 1/35 scale Type 97 Chi-Ha tank and figures with Vallejo acrylic paint. “I have yet to purchase an airbrush, and I enjoy hand-painting very much,” he says. He covered a Masonite board with Celluclay and static grass for groundwork, and used a dried morning glory root for a tree. The hut is made of balsa and matte board painted with watercolors.
