“This is a great model to build as the fit is good and it can be dressed in a variety of color schemes,” says Thomas of the Monogram 1/48 scale F9F-5. He detailed it with Reheat photo-etch, airbrushed with Testors Model Master enamels, and applied Eagle Strike decals — and he likes it. “This is my third build of this kit, and I have two more in my stash,” he says.
