“Among the planes I really like is the Northrop F-5 two-seater version,” Jorge says. Unable to find a two-seater in 1/32 scale, and encouraged by adventurous modeling he had seen in FineScale Modeler, he decided to make his own by combining two Hasegawa 1/32 scale F-5s. Rescaling photos to aid his calculations, he cut the forward fuselage of one and the aft section on the other to combine them for a two-seat cockpit. “After that was done, I just followed the directions,” he says, although he had to cut up parts of three canopies to get what he needed.
