Donald says, “This is Tamiya’s 1/48 scale Skyraider with a little extra — a toilet bomb.” In 1965, the sailors of VA-25 aboard USS Midway celebrated 6 million pounds of ordnance dropped by carrying an unauthorized weapon under the starboard wing. Their action was not without precedent — in 1952, during the Korean War, a Skyraider of VA-195 from USS Princeton dropped a kitchen sink on Pyongyang, correcting a common omission.
