Curtis converted his 1/24 scale Easy Built Models balsa-and-tissue Gloster Gladiator to a Sea Gladiator, scratchbuilding a cockpit and engine for it, and painting it with Vallejo acrylics. He says, “The reason I sent this image is that all the skills I’ve learned — converting, scratchbuilding, painting and finishing — are due to FSM. I have been able to convert those skills to a balsa model.”
