Tamiya USMC Sherman

This is Tamiya's early Sherman in 1/35 scale that I converted to a USMC Sherman fighting on Guam in 1944.

I re-worked the original kit by adding spacers for the wood appliqué armor and putty to represent the cement filled between the wood and the tank. Steel spikes were added to repel boarders, a bunch of gear was added including scratchbuilt tow cables, infantry telephone box, and spring!  

Heavily weathered and battle damaged topped off with brass shavings for spent shell casings from the commanders Thompson!
