Mike’s impressive Star Trek space dock is made from a 10 ½- x 13-inch plaque, styrene stock, and engraved styrene sheet. He finished the outer wall with Krylon Stone Textured spray paint, built the inside of the space dock with parts from his spares box, and designed decals on CorelDraw. He added scaffolding built from Metal Earth photo-etched-metal kits and a kitbashed a McQuarrie-class starship" with a 1/2500 scale Polar Lights Discovery engineering hull and an AMT 1/2500 scale Enterprise-B saucer section. The other ship is AMT 1/2500 scale USS Enterprise-A to which he added battle damage.
