Adam built this HobbyBoss 1/48 scale A-10C in the 100th Anniversary Selfridge livery, including a Quinta Studio's aftermarket cockpit decal set and decals from Speed Hunter Graphics by Reid Air Publishing. He primed the A-10 with Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500, pre-shaded with Tamiya Flat Black, and then painted the model MR. Paint Olive Drab and a custom-mixed light ghost grey custom he made with a 1:3 ratio of flat Tamiya Sky Grey and White. The invasion stripes are flat Tamiya Black and White. He added a gloss coat of Alclad II Aqua Gloss before and after decaling, brought up the panel lines with a black Tamiya Panel Line accent, and finally sprayed the model with Testors Dullcote straight from the can. He scratchbuilt the GAU-8 display stand to match one he saw online from a 2mm square styrene rod. All munitions and ECM pods are magnetically attached and removable. The display base is a 12- x12-inch pine board edge-dressed with a router. The concrete expansion joints are set to scale, at 17.5-feet apart.
