As a longtime fan of the vehicles that appeared in the Space: 1999 TV series, Mike modified MPC's 1/100 scale Pilgrim Observer kit into a long-range Alpha Probe ship. It includes a scratchbuilt engine, solar panels, and storage pods based on the probe ship designs seen in the episodes, "Breakaway" and "Dragon's Domain." The Command Module is from an Imai Eagle Transporter kit.
