Who doesn't remember the chill up their spine when they first saw that Imperial Star Destroyer cruise over their head during the original Star Wars movie from 1977? Brian got the same feeling while building the palm-sized Bandai 1/14500 scale Imperial Star Destroyer. He painted it with Tamiya Grey from a spray can and added filters, washes, and streaking from black and raw umber oil paints. Brian acquired a dime-store, fluorescent ink paint marker, which he added in tiny bits using his finest brush on small areas of the model. When exposed to light, the ink glows in the dark, simulating lights. Very clever!
