Jeff put together 3D-printed and resin models that he bought on eBay to make the "City Killers" from Independence Day. He painted the models using Testors rattle cans, starting with basic gray primer followed by a coat of Graphite Gray Metallic. Jeff covered the glossy finish with Dullcote for a more realistic appearance. He used the well-known image of Earth taken by Apollo 16 astronauts on their way to the moon as a backdrop. These killer ships are on their way to wreak havoc on cities after being released from their mothership. Jeff described his sci-fi project as “just some fun for an afternoon combining modeling and photography.”
