David Morrison

If you are having trouble spotting this model, that’s ok! David is a clinical anaplastologist who creates silicone facial prosthetics for people with cancer, trauma, or congenital deformity. Part of David’s job is matching flesh tones, and, as a longtime modeler, he challenged himself to see if he could paint a model that would go unnoticed by patients and staff alike!
Starting with an AZ Models 1/72 Gotha P.60 C1, David built it straight from the box, adding a brass pitot tube for an ME-163B Komet by Master Models and decals by Xtradecal. He painted the aircraft using Testors Model Master enamels and weathered it with Airfix weathering powders. At the time he shared this with us, David said the model was attached to the ceiling (via a screw and magnets) for almost two weeks without anyone noticing!
