Neale likes to challenge his skills each time he builds a new model. For this bike, he went with an all-resin 1/12 scale 2020 Yamaha YZR R1M kit from K's Workshop finished in No. 20 Petronas livery. The resin required a new technique for gluing and assembly than his usual styrene glue. Plenty of carbon-fiber decals were used for the front forks, heel plates, rear-tire guard, and exhaust shield. Neale topped the bike with lacquer from Zero Paints and Alclad II and picked out details with Tamiya enamels. A final coat of 2K clear provides the shine.
