Myles’s model depicts the entire weapon system of the Iowa-class secondary battery, the legendary 5"/38-caliber twin dual-purpose gun, from gun house to magazine. He designed, 3D-printed, fabricated, and assembled it entirely himself with no commercial parts. Myles says this model will join a similar model of a 16-inch turret on permanent display in the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial at the Camden, NJ, waterfront.
