There are several organizations in the US that helps our veterans outside of traditional services provided by the VA. Unfortunately there are not enough services, support to help those who have served their country.
Organizations such as US Vets Inc and Care 2 help homeless veterans with services such as shelters, transportation, counseling, and job placement services.
These organizations need financial help to keep them going. If you are interested in giving financial donations to any of these organizations visit their websites or look in your yellow pages for local groups.
Below is a local group that has just started that needs help in the southwestern part of the United States.
