I mean C'mon over four times in the last six months, and some Not so nice letters to you! And Change my Password Again!
The folks out there don't even remember how long I've been coming here because of this Confabulation of gross errors in Operation of the site! How many times will this go on ? I am getting a little fed up with this. I was on Papermodels International for over ten years and NEVER had this problem. I dropped out on my own after being Hospitalized.
Early on I couldn't stay awake to do more than here! So I made this site my Primary. Are you listening Moderators? Fix IT!!! This gets aggravating enough to make one say NO MORE!! I don't really want to do that!
I've been a member here since the forums started. While I have had to log in every so often. I don't think I've ever had to re-register. I might have way back when they went to the new forum format, but I am not sure.

I have been a member here for barely more than a year and haven't had to re-register once...and certainly not four times in the last six months. Like Rob, I have had to log in again on a couple of occasions (usually when my IP address changed), but never had to re-register or do anything with passwords that I didn't initiate. Are you maybe getting logged out on occasion and you can't remember your password? I don't think any internet forum software is without problems, but this sounds like it might be a case of operator error. Try to calm down and work the problem before taking the drastic action of starting over from scratch.

Thank You for that very pleasant memory. Although it was a Ranger Bass Boat. I only took out the big boat to go to Monterey. I still miss the Delta and all the friends I had between there and Oakland, In that Direction, In the other Direction, all the friends from Bethel Island to Sacramento!
Never had to re register. Only problem I'm having is accessing extras.

That is interesting indeed, never had to re register. However, this site is plagued with issues and more keep popping up. Sometimes I need to log in twice, sometimes as you get ready to post the entire thing banishes and one has to start from scratch. How about those “ error” codes? Not being able to log out or to log in is another. Sometimes my Safari browser in my tablet has delays when typing a post. Only here all this stuff happens .

I used to have all of the same problems with posting, until I started using AdBlocker. The code run by a lot of those ads interferes with a lot of things. It has been that way with every browser, and every site that runs intrusive advertising...especially the animated ads.

I share your frustration. I have not received notifications in over a year. I can login to FSM on my PC, but I can't login using my MacBook. Will these issues ever be resolved? NO!!!!

Happened again while trying to post on another thread while attempting to add a picture. The post vanished and had to do it again.
I have to log in every month or six weeks. Had to register again after changing email.
As far as moderator, I think various FSM staff maintain forums but I don't believe there is one person who moderates. Certainly there is not a moderator for each forum. I am kind of glad it is open like that. They are quite easy going.

Yes, exactly,I like the fact that all I do is bring up the site on my phone,and boom I'm already on.
I don't log out either and the only problem I have had has been with the PMs. Either they don't get to the intended receiver, or I don't receive the reply.

If one clears all memory and cookies you will need to log back on. I do this routinely to clean up my tablet , phone and pc. Otherwise like you said, no need to log out IMO.

My anti-virus occasionally cleans out my temporary files and cookies. That will often require you to log back into the site unless you have your browser save your passwords.
I've been a member since day one. Now I'm Buckeye2 because I couldn't log in and had to re-register.

I had trouble logging in a couple weeks ago. I was logged off the forum and when I attempted to log in I was greeted with a blank page.
Isnt it bad practice (Security wise) to stay logged in all the time, to any site? Not a computer guru. Just curious.....

On a public computer,yes
But on your own phone or computer,I can't see what damage could be done to you on this site.once in awhile on serious sites like my bank,they log you off automatically after a time.

All this started last year when Pops and my accounts somehow got merged together, somehow our logins got joined together and his password would open mine and mine would open his... It took Elizabeth a while, but she finally got it straight. I had the same issue for a while afterwards, but after contacting her again and using Ad Blocker, as others have said, I haven't had any further problems...

Thanks. Went to the App Store and got the Safari version. Looks like it’s working keeping out the pesky pop ups.

Yup. Its those ads that cause pretty much all of the posting problems that people are having.
