That's sweet Joe. I just finished that Macchi. Nice kit.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Thanks Bish. I really can't explain it but, I've always been taken by the looks of the Jaguar.

No photos, but my last kit purchases were the 1/48 P-40B kits by Airfix and Bronco.  I haven't started them yet, but I was curious to see the Airfix kit--I think it's a great kit, the detractors can all cram it with walnuts--and to build them both side-by-side with one of my Monogram P-40Bs.

My latest acquisitions overall are a bunch of 54mm figure kits, for my Seven Years War collection, and some out-of-print Hecker & Goros Bavarian civilians in Tracht (ie, their native folk dress-men in Lederhosen, ladies in Dirndls) for another collection I have.  My gray army is bigger than my model kit stash.

Best regards,

Brad

Thanks Joe, Although I've added quite a bit to my stash, I have managed to keep it down enough that I am able to store all my kits in the man hangar. This is now a necessity as the wife unit has taken up all available space in the storage bus that I created as I moved boxes of models out. Lol!

I recently attended my first IPMS show in Seattle with my son.  We both had a great time.  There were so many amazing pieces.  Anyways this is what $85 got me...  The old airfix spit was a gift that one of the vendors so generously gave to my son.

This is kinda like the serious Naval modellers equivalent of Airfix's "dogfight doubles"

Bucksco

Picked this one up as a Birthday gift to myself in March. Finally got around to priming him. Looking forward to painting!

That...is....AWESOME!  Who makes that figure?  What scale or size is it?  It would very cool if it's 1/32, and then you could put him with his mount, too.

I look forward to seeing your progress on this one!

Best regards,

Brad
