Martin enjoys going to a hobby shop in El Paso, Texas, and getting kits, supplies, and a copy of FSM. He built Italeri’s 1/35 scale Dodge WC-54 ambulance and praised its level of detail. He painted a base coat with of Testors Model Master flat black, applied salt with a damp brush to areas where he wanted wear, then painted with Model Master Acryl olive drab (and the back of the truck with gloss white). When the paint dried, he gently scrubbed off the salt with a cotton swab to reveal the undercoating.
