“I picked up this lovely [1/24 scale] Airfix treasure for $15,” says Jon. “James Bond's Little Nellie turns out to be the Wallis WA-116 autogyro, built for consideration by the British military. The Bond model had too many issues, so British army it is! It’s built as seen in trials at Middle Wallop, Hampshire, England, in 1963.” Jon seated a crew figure from Tamiya’s 1/24 scale Centurion, repositioning limbs, wiring the headset, and providing seat belts.
