What could be better than Iron Man? “These are three of the (1/8 scale) Moebius Iron Man figures, painted with Alclad II,” Stephen says. “They’re all illuminated with LEDs and scrap wire. I only had to purchase the resistors at a local electronics store. The illumination is not difficult, but it takes planning to make space for the LEDs and wires. I soldered the resistors to the battery end of the power wire because there is not enough room in some of the spaces for both the LED and the resistor. To build these and light them up is challenging but also fun.” All the electronic plumbing inspired Stephen to add the RCA dog, Nipper, “not illuminated,” he says.
