Martin built Dragon’s 1/35 scale Panther Ausf G for a D-Day group build in a FineScale.com forum. He enjoyed the extras of Zimmerit and an Aber photoetched-metal set but, he says, “the kit is so well detailed it didn’t need much.” Martin marked his tank for the 1st SS Panzer Division making its way to the Normandy front in June 1944. The figures are from various sources. “I had a lot of help and suggestions from all the great guys on the forum,” he says.
