Mario writes: “When the last two World War II veteran pilots from the Brazilian air force passed away, I decided to pay tribute to those heroes with this P-47D Thunderbolt in Força Aérea Brasileira markings. It’s a Tamiya 1/72 kit with Quickboost stabilizers and dorsal fin, painted with Tamiya and Gunze Sangyo acrylics. I weathered using pastels, oil paints, and artist’s oil-filter techniques I learned from reading FSM.”
