Warren Nott

Frogmore, New South Wales, Australia

It’s a typical Aussie prime mover, says Warren, who built AMT’s 1/25 scale Kenworth K-123 cabover. “The truck is heavily modified to suit an Aussie truck,” he says, “A bull bar is fitted, and there are Spyder rims all round.” Warren used real chromed aluminum for the fuel tanks, reworked the exhaust system, and applied custom decals from Modeltruckin.com He finished the big rig with automotive paints. Warren says, “I built this truck to represent Dad’s, as he drove something similar to this for about 14 years. His was built in 1976 and ran a 400 Cummins with a Roadranger transmission. For its day, it was the heaviest spec on the road.”
