Ron Denning

Kansas City, Missouri

Monogram’s 1/48 scale B-24 serves as a memorial to a cousin of Ron’s father, 1st Lt. Clifford Denning, bombardier, 8th Air Force, 2nd Bomb Wing/2nd Air Division, 446th Bomb Group, 706th Bomb Squadron. Lt. Denning and seven fellow crewmen died on April 27, 1944, when their flak-damaged Liberator, trying to return from France, crashed into the cliffs at Palm Bay, Kent, England. Ron added engines, cowls, and superchargers from NeOmega Resin. “I am sure we all have relatives who gave their all,” Ron says. “Mine I was able to preserve in a model.”
