Hans Von Hammer...IN RESIN!?
Posted by New Hampshire on Sunday, April 18, 2010 8:57 PM

Found this little oddity floating around while looking into some other figures:

The (sitting) driver has an uncanny resemblance to our dashing online hero, dontcha think? Big Smile

Hilarious! It's a dead-ringer!

The other day I was at the IMPS Seattle and saw a guy that could be Doog's brother. No ^&%$. I should have snapped his pic and posted it. Ask (Bob) M1-Carbine, he'll attest to it.

Perhaps my "80's-model" Hammer-face... This was taken ca. 1983, when I was an M109 Section Chief (B-3/3 FA 2AD)...

 I'm much taller IRL though...

Nah, it couldn't be him. Hans is too cheap to be in resin. Styrene perhaps. Big Smile

Let's just hope the Ex Mrs. Von Hammers don't catch on to this or they use it as a voodoo doll! Big Smile

Found your new chair Hans!

The armor is not good, but high marks for off-road mobility!

Ditto... I mailed a check of $5 few minutes ago to the fund created by Indy.  Just wanted to show my appreciation because Hans always took his time to answer my questions I posted regarding German uniforms when I first joined the forum... two years ago I think!  Thank you...

Oh hell... GUYS!

Please... Don't...  Thanks for the thoughts, Indy & all, but I don't have a ramp because I can't build one where I live...  I live in a second-floor walk-up and there's no place TO build a ramp and the stairs are too steep anyway...  I get up & down the stairs via my 4th POC... I have a harness I made that I pull my chair up with...
