I think this kit might be a 1905 rolls, looking at the front fenders they are separate from the running boards the07 rolls they are connected any input

Given the antiquated Gakken/Entex/Minicraft lineage of the kit, it's as likely to be a design flaw in the model as any faithful representation of a prototype.

The original 40/50 'Silver Ghost' prototype chassis -- plate #AX201 -- is still around...purportedly "the most expensive car in the world." It should be easy enough to find photo references for whatever corrections or alterations you deem suitable.

Cheers

Greg

The Minicraft indeed looks more like an 05 than an 07 to me. I think in more ways than just the fenders but without the kit in front of me can't say for sure.

. I'd build it as is and call it a 1905. Unless you want to get into alterations.

Is this the 1:16 model?  I love those old kits.  They were very nice for their era.  I always look for those at flea markets.  Just bought one at NNL north.
