Revell '29 Model A Roadster "Rat Rod" 1:25

I did a good bit of customizing to this kit from cutting the frame to adding different wheels. I had a blast building this and I am sure I will be doing more in the future! The "rust" didn't quite turn out as heavy as I'd like but this was my first time doing the salt technique so there is lots of room for improvement. Thanks for looking!

Thats cool!  Rust looks good and I like all the details, signs, upsidedown license plate lol.  Looks mean

Thanks,

John

Very cool build indeed-rust was done well-and nice details added to the build.

Nice to see a Rat Rod here.

I just LOVE how this turned out!  It just looks so "industrial" tough and menancing!  The stance, tires and wheels combo, the rust and dull paint all just add to its appearance.  I'm assuming that the orange box next to the seat is the gas tank which if it is would make driving this beast all the more "challenging"!  Well done Chops!

Thank y'all for the kind words! That is indeed the gas tank. I thought about plumbing it up but I left well enough alone. Maybe the next one!

Really nice model. I like the paint job. I have just one suggestion. Maybe you could slap some mud on the tires?

Your comments and questions are always welcome.

I thought about adding something to the tires. They seem a bit too "clean". The road signs could use a little something as well.
