Great progress on the Mustang!  I never heard of this show until your build and now I want to watch it on a streaming service.

Thanks Tom!  If you can find it, yes by all means, watch it!  I love an good PI TV series, but due to the Pandemic, ABC cancelled the series and they would shop the series to a streaming service or network.  I don't think that happened.

Stance is looking great Mike. Looks like you did a bang up job on correcting all the issues associated with it.

Thanks Joe!  Most of thse issues have been corrected.  I'm surprised that the some of the fender cladding lined up and not surprised that some did not.  This is still a compromised kit!

I have been looking at the headlights for Dex's Mustang GT and I started wondering about how to go about painting them.  I do want them to look realistic, but I couldn't remember where I saw the painting guide.  With necessity being the mother of invention, I started by painting the directionals and the fog lights with Tamiya X-26 Clear Orange.  This morning I was looking at the headlights and I thought that maybe some Tru-Color TCP-013 Aluminium paint would take away all of that chrome and I thought that it looked pretty good.  Then I dry-brushed some Aluminium paint over the fog lights to dull the Clear Orange and I liked that as well.

It took me a couple of tries at this and it was a while to do.  I painted the taillights with Tamiya X-11 Chrome Silver paint.  It may take me a while to do with Tamiya X-27 Clear Red.

It has been over 2 1/2 weeks since I paid any attention to the Stumptown Mustang GT.  I applied the Tamiya X-27 Clear Red over the Tamiya X-11 Chrome Silver and after it had set up for a few minutes, I used an alcohol swab on the taillights and removed the extra Clear Red.  Worked pretty good!

I kept looking at the taillights wondering what was missing and they needed backup lights!  Out came my jar of Tamiya XF-2 Flat White paint and a thin brush and now I have backup lights!

Thanks Joe!  I seem to have the patience for some small things, but not others.  

A litttle time spent on the Stumptown Mustang this morning.  I "weathered" the body with Model Master Camoflage Gray and my Badger 150 airbrush.  Now to finish this!

 Those taillights look okay! That type has got to be the hardest to paint. very nice overall.
