Ambulance

Anyone know if an ambulance kit in 1/24 or 1/24? Long ago I started a plan to build a fire station, with a removable roof so enable more details to be viewed. Fire engine kits are fairly easy to come by, but not so the ambulance. The alternatvie is to take a truck kit, leave off the bed section, and scratch build the rest, but that's more than I really want to get into.

Long long ago, in a galaxie far far away, AMT had a Dodge van ambulance kit in their "Emergency 911" series. I haven't seen it in years. There are aftermarket ambulance bodies in resin, but you will need a donor kit. Try "Dave Panek" hobbies or if he's out of business try "Scale Squads". Good luck.

You can convert the Ghostbusters Caddy kit into a ambulance.

Hi alanks!!!!!

first off in the back ofScale Auoto I found Fred's Custom Models, there is no web site listed, but his ad says he deals specifically Fire Ems and Police Models, you would have to send a dollar for the 13 page catalog, i know i will be sending that out today!!!

Also i found the site, now there are no bodies or anything like that, but there are light bars and decals...... http://www.chimneyvilledecals.com/

hope this helps!!!

I REMEMBER A GMC VAN THAT WAS A A-TEAM KIT. THE VAS WAS AN EXTENDED VAN. I THINK IT WAS AMT. THEN YOU WOULD HAVE TO GO TO www.chimneyville.com TO BUY YOUR DECALS AND LIGHTBARS, ETC.
