I have a model kit that I bought for a son, now grown, who never touched it. I would like to sell this to someone who would appreciate it and build it. I would be glad to send a pic and other info..also can anyone tell me how much it is worth? or where I might find that out? the box has never been opened, though the plastic is a little torn. thanks gw

I can't tell you what it's worth, but I know someone definitely interested in buying it. Me.

Sewer, not to intrude on your deal, but if you want to find out what the value of a kit is, a good way to do it is to put it on eBay. Then multiple buyers see it and bid on it, and unless you are very unlucky, you should get about market price for ir. I've been surprised in the past by just how consistent this has been.

Of course, you have a deal on this ship, but in the future, it might not be a bad idea to eBay it. I've gotten more than one rare old kit from a widow selling off her deceased husband's inventory. I like to think that the modeler is smiling up there in the heavens as he sees his wife getting a little something for the kits, and a modeler putting the kits to good use, rather than them simply being dumped in the trash.

Thank you for your input, I thought about Ebay, and if this doesn't work out, I will do that. I am pleased to think that someone will enjoy putting this together.
