Hasegawa's 1:48 scale Voyager Spacecraft

I built the Voyager probe for the January group build hosted by FSM.  It's a fairly easy build, I was able to build it in two weekends, while I had found a photoetch set,  I just couldn't justify paying 80 bucks for it!  Overall, I am happy with this build!

Mortal as I am,I know that I am born for a day.  But when I follow at my pleasure the serried multitude of the stars in their circular course, my feet no longer touch the Earth...

Very nice! How did you twist the magnetometer?

Actually, it is twisted in the kit...the boom is four pieces, with explicit assembly instructions. ...

Hi Justin ;

 Well ; It's nice to see pictures of an accurate Voyager before it became V'Ger on Star Trek ! You did a bang up job on the model and the base !  T.B.
