Scribing panel lines
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 4:19 PM

While its entirely possible that two weeks from now I'll look back and think this wasnt such a hot idea, today it seems keen.

I'm trying to remedy some panel lines that had to get filled over, and the xacto isnt liking my attempts with it thus far. So I reached into the cabinet and got a checkering tool - gunsmith stuff, for stock work. Hey, that works pretty slick! I don't know if its just that my hands know how to use that and I dont have the feel for the xacto yet or not, but the lines were much straighter and even.

If you dont know what one looks like,
