Canopy disaster......averted?

If this is redundant, I appologize.

For those of you who haven't discovered Micro-Mesh yet, let me tell you....WOW! The other day I had on my hands what appeared to be a destroyed clear canopy (something to do with a thinner-soaked paper towel laid down in the wrong place Banged Head [banghead]Sign - With Stupid [#wstupid]...whatever). Looking in dismay at my blunder and a really nasty "chemically burned" canopy, I remembered seeing a Micro-Mesh kit at work so I thought I'd give it a try. Following the directions, I started with about 600 grit sandpaper and gradually worked my way up to 12000 grit Micro-mesh cloth. What do you know, there before me was nothing short of a miracle! My canopy was saved!Bow [bow] This stuff definately lives up to it's reputation and was really easy to use. Don't be afraid to try it before you throw away a "savable" clear part. Anyway, just my My 2 cents [2c].
