it is converted printer cartridges. Instead of normal coloured in in it (red example), it was changed to white. On my monitor it will be red but it will print white. I'm going to use it for these...

We need more info, where did you get the white ink, and am assuming you used an old coloured cartride and put said ink into it? Also your printer settings, to ensure only the one colour is printed, do you select b/w, leave as colour setting???
for quick print, Oki C711WT, no more fiddling of cartridges.

for colour setting, I think the best techniq is what I've said earlier on this thread. Since most of the computer/printer wont print white, you have to trick the computer by using black (or any block colour) on you monitor then replace the cartridge with white filled cartridge to print white.

You say converted cartridges, which made me think you made your own white cartridge? The linked product page states that the whie cartridge is available as a separate purchase ...
Anyhow thanks for the heads up, that is a nice machine, but bloody expensive. I can afford it, but it doesn't make sense for me as I would only use once or twice a year at most.
Mine is a second hand from a shop that is now close. They converted a normal C7111 cartridge into white.
Here is a simple video I've done to show how opaque the white print is.
