Guess what I found? I walked about the other day, Waiting on someone to meet me at the Museum where I am Director. I went into a locqal Antique Store that I like going into. Masked of course!
Well, I don't usually go in the basements. Stairs and I are NOT friends! This time I did. I am mighty glad I did too! I found at least three vendors had racks of older, out of print reference books on, Planes, Ships and Armor!
So, here's a recommendation. Hit the Antique stores. I go in them to take a walk back along Memory lane. It's good therapy too! Sure there's a lot of old Furniture, Dresses, Glassware and "Stuff", but you will find something, no matter what your interest is.
Watch out though! This is for you Car Modelers. There is a lot of Maisto and other cheaper brands of fairly Newer Die Cast Models showing up. These are NOT Antiques, Collectibiles maybe but at twice the price? I don't think so!
