Andrew built Hasegawa’s 1/48 scale F/A-18F Super Hornet with an Aires resin cockpit and finished with Fightertown USA “Victory Hat Trick” decals for VFA-103. He says, “I always loved 103’s skull-and-crossbones livery. When I saw the kit in a local hobby shop, I knew I had to buy it. The carrier deck is by 3Wire Design. I would have tried to make my own base, but extreme time constraints prevented me from doing so; I finished the model at 11:30 pm the night before reporting to basic training at the United States Military Academy for the Class of 2015.”
