Joseph writes: “I started with a 1/48 scale Monogram SBD Dauntless and obtained a 1/48 scale Hasegawa SBD-4 to upgrade interior details missing in the Monogram kit. The control stick, pilot’s seat, rear gunners turret, twin .30-caliber flex guns and ammo box, rudder pedals, instrument panel, main landing-gear wheels, pitot tube, .50-caliber fixed forward gun barrels, and decals were from the Hasegawa offering except the letters and numbers (from Yellow-Wings).” Joseph painted with Vallejo acrylics.
