Dragon Flakpanther – December 2015

Ben Edwards

Westerly, Rhode Island

A “paper panzer” in the Black Forest: Ben mounted an Accurate Armour twin 5.5cm turret on Dragon’s Coelian to model a Flakpanther lying in wait for Allied aircraft, basing details on drawings from George Bradford’s German Late War Armored Fighting Vehicles. Ben primed with Krylon camouflage spray paint and finished with Tamiya acrylic paints. Figures and equipment are a mix of Tamiya and Dragon items; trees from various manufacturers are covered in Noch pine needles. The tree stumps are wooden dowels with putty roots covered in peat moss bark.
