James started with a Motormax 1/43 scale Taurus, then turned on the party lights. He made a light bar with 18 LEDs, and added alley lights and independent front and rear controls. The model is equipped with dual power inputs so it can either be run by onboard batteries or USB power with a custom harness. James used five custom-programmed Oliver Cruisers Micro series boards to control the 50 LEDs, including: light bar; push bar; parking and headlights; fog strobes; mirror strobes; vent lights; window strobes; read-deck lights; dome lights; and reverse strobes. “It is the most extravagant model I have completed,” he says.
