Mayhem in small-town America? No — it’s far worse. It’s The War of the Worlds! Pegasus patterned its 1/48 scale Martian war-machine after the 1953 George Pal movie, but it was Jeff who sent it down Main St., where buildings are made from foam board and lighted with LEDs. The pyrotechnics are pillow-stuffing material backlit with yellow bulbs. “I think I spent more time trying to take a good photo than I did building the scene,” Jeff says.
