Designed as a high-performance interceptor, the Kyushu J7W1 Shinden (Magnificent Lightning) made its first flight on Aug. 3, 1945, less than two weeks before Japan surrendered in World War II. Toshi hand-painted Zoukei-Mura’s 1/48 scale model with Vallejo acrylics.
