Dean built Takom’s 1/35 scale King Tiger with full interior. “I am a fan of World War II armor, especially from the German side,” he says, “This has a full interior, which was challenging. It was a shame to cover it all up. I used an Aber metal barrel and Friulmodel metal tracks. The tracks are heavy but very detailed and, I feel, worth the extra money. Reading Adam Wilder’s FineScale Modeler article (Sept. 2017) showing how he achieved such a fantastic finish on his T-26 tank inspired me. So, I tried to emulate his techniques.
