Having built Revell’s 1/72 scale Fokker Dr.1, William says, “I got this as a gift about 30 years ago — no more than 25 parts in the kit. After I built it, someone pointed out that the landing gear was set too far back. In my defense, the box art shows the landing gear mounted directly under the bottom wing instead of between the firewall and wing’s leading edge, as photos show. So I moved the landing gear forward, as shown here.”
