Martin Debattista

Birkirkara, Malta

Having built Hand & Head’s 1/72 scale Reichsflugscheibe Haunebu, Martin says, “This subject gave a lot of latitude to the modeler, but I tried to stick to the suggestions of the manufacturer. The camo scheme depicts a Dornier Haunebu Do-Str-HG/2 over Poland in 1944. Since there were no plastic parts for the windows, these were added with Humbrol Clearfix. The twin-gun mount on the cupola is also a creative addition made from sprue after researching other Haunebu models.” Martin painted with AK Interactive, Tamiya, and Vallejo colors, and weathered with Mig oils and Tamiya panel liner.
