Started building back in the early 1960's I was a newbie to the hobby and back then in Montreal Quebec you could mostly buy your kits at department stores. This went on for only a few years and got disappointed in finding a hobby store that I could talk the bus or walk to, my dad wasn't keen on driving me. I started back building Tamiya 1:35 kits in the mid 1970's and it was great then in 1980 along came my daughter well everything went on the back burner and eventually 40 plus kits in the garbage as there was no room. The spare bedroom was now the baby room. Moved to Ottawa and my daughter grew up and got back into building in 2004 and stopped in April 2008 when I had my triple by pass. Feeling great and back into again after a 5 year absence from the hobby and hoping there will be no stops from now on. Had another health setback in 2015 had to put aside the hobby retired now and health is great retired IT Sales Consultant.
